Our client is the major Health facility on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands; we are seeking a committed and experienced Band 6 Social Worker to join their Community Older Adult Mental Health Team.
The Older Adult Service has a four in-patient centres; as well as Day Services and a Community Team comprising a MDT of Band 6 CPNs, OTs, and Social Workers.
The Community Older Adult service is Consultant-led, focusing on admissions prevention for over 65s and GP and Memory Clinic dementia referrals of all ages.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale. The current Guernsey Band 6 salary range is £41,544 to £56,090 plus an annual bonus of £1,517 and higher penalty rates; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.

Person requirements:
– Qualified Social Worker with full Social Work England (or devolved UK administration) registration.
– Current or recent Community Older Adult, including Dementia-specific experience.
