We are seeking a capable and experienced Band 7 Autism Outreach Manager to join the Senior Team within the Adult Disabilities service on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
Role Summary:
To be responsible for the day to day management of a caseload of service users and staff team/s
To be accountable for the ongoing review, monitoring and updating of care programmes,
To be responsible and manage the allocated budget
The post holder will manage a staff team supporting service users within their own homes and in the community.
Support is provided to service users to meet their physical, social, intellectual emotional and sensory needs. This may include additional mental health issues and behaviours that challenge.
The current Guernsey Band 7 salary range is £50,030 to £65,789 plus an annual bonus of £1,517 higher penalty rates; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.

Person requirements:
Registered Learning Disabilities or Mental Health Registered Nurse
Significant post-graduate Autism experience at senior level.
An excellent knowledge of Autism theory, practice and research
Completion of a recognised Teaching and Assessing/Mentorship qualification.
