We are seeking an experienced Senior Cardio Physiologist to lead on Pacemaker and Echocardiography service developments at our client’s Acute Hospital site based in Central London (Travelcard Zone 1). This role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services.

You will also support the Cardiology department in other cardiac investigations.
Clinical duties will include performing resting Transthoracic Echo, Exercise stress and Dobutamine Stress echo, bubble and contrast echo, 12 Lead ECGs, Holter Monitoring and Analysis, Event Monitoring, Blood pressure Monitoring, Exercise Testing, routine pacemaker checks and Administrative duties.
You will independently write clinical reports for transthoracic echocardiography to a BSE standard. In addition, physiologist clinical reports will be provided following holter and ETT  analysis.

An established charity-status centre of excellence for over 160 years, the Hospital has 60 inpatient beds, including level three Critical Care and a state of the art five-suite Operating Theatre complex.
The Cardiology & Respiratory Department provides a diagnostic service for patients referred with actual, or suspected, heart / respiratory disease / conditions. The department services outpatients, inpatients and offers a comprehensive range of non-invasive investigational facilities and also provides training and technical support for the Nursing Department.

Person requirements
– Cardiac Physiologist with RCCP and ARTP registration.
– Experience to independently perform and report Adult Transthoracic Echocardiograms
– Experience of assisting in Pacemaker and Implantable Loop recorder implantation and the use of Medtronic, Boston Scientific and St Jude Pacemaker programmers.
– In addition to; 12 Lead ECGs, Holter Monitoring and Analysis, Event Monitoring, Blood pressure Monitoring, Exercise Testing and routine pacemaker checks.
