We are seeking a capable and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join the Medical Ward team as Deputy Ward Manager at our client’s Acute Hospital site based in Central London (Travelcard Zone 1). This role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services.
This is a full-time post, but we are open to hearing from candidates seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity
An established charity-status centre of excellence for over 160 years, the Hospital has 60 inpatient beds, including level three Critical Care and a state of the art Operating Theatre complex.
The Medical Ward is a 15 bedded ward specialising in providing care to a variety of patients with medical admissions and those recovering from stroke.
Person requirements
Registered Nurse (Adult) with full NMC registration.
A minimum of two years post-registration experience with at least 1 year within the UK.
Ideally stroke rehabilitation experience
Completion of a Mentorship qualification.
Experience of shift management and leading a team
Exceptional clinical, organisational and communication skills.
