We are seeking an experienced Infection Control Nurse to join our clients Inpatient Surgical and Orthopaedic Ward team at their acute inpatient facility in Ashford, Kent.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will be responsible for the Hospital’s infection prevention and control programme.
This includes identifying the risks to the hospital, its patients, and staff from infection, and taking responsibility for implementing and monitoring actions to manage those risks.
This is a full-time permanent post but we are open to hearing from applicants seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity.
Our client is one of Kent’s newest private hospitals which has been designed with the latest technology and with patient care at its heart. Close to junction 10 of the M20 and free parking is available – ideally located for candidates living in and around the Ashford area.
Treating the full range of surgical specialities, particularly MSK and Orthopaedics this site engages with many of the South East’s elite Consultants and other healthcare specialists.
Person requirements:
– Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
– Current or recent Infection Control experience
– Familiarity with CQC Standards, NICE, and other regulatory bodies in relation to infection control
