We are seeking an experienced Band 8A Oncology Pharmacist to Lead the Service within the major health facility on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

Role Summary:
To provide, manage and develop clinical pharmacy services to Oncology and Haematology in accordance with local and national directives
To be the strategic lead for the clinical chemotherapy service, holding overall responsibility, for the provision of chemotherapy.
To act as an Advanced Practitioner Clinical Pharmacist and support Head and Lead Aseptic Technicians
To manage related training provision to all operational staff within the facility.

Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.
The current Guernsey Band 8A salary is up to £67,429 plus an annual bonus of £1,350 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.

Their Pharmacy and Oncology Services provides excellent care, supported by modern equipment and Pharmacists and other Healthcare Professionals recruited to a very high standard.

Person requirements:
Qualified GPhC-registered Pharmacist
Extensive Oncology experience, with recent UK-based practice
Completion of a post-graduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy, or relevant post-grad Oncology qualification
