We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our client’s busy Neuro Complex Care team in a dual-sited role across their unique purpose-built Neurological Care and Neuro-Rehab Centres based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
This is a full time Band 6-equivalent post but we are open to hearing from OTs seeking to negotiate a reduced-hours opportunity, and applicants who may be at Band 5 level seeking a supportive next step.
Our client is a leading independent provider of specialist neurological care and rehabilitation for people aged 18 onwards with physical conditions, restricted mobility, difficult and diverse behaviours.
This centre of excellence strives to nurture dignity and independence, working with both the service user and their families to create personal prescribed care programmes tailored to suit the service user’s needs.
Person requirements
Occupational Therapist with full HCPC registration
Minimum of two years UK-based post-registration experience with one year in a Neuro Rehab or Neurology setting
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Experienced in the support of junior OTs, Support Staff and Students
Independent and non time-limited permission to undertake employment in the UK is a requirement of this role (not requiring a certificate of sponsorship)
