We are seeking a capable and experienced Registered Manager to join the Learning Disabilities team at their Supported Living service based in Gloucester
Job Role:
To provide direct leadership to effectively manage a team of team leaders, deputy manager and support workers to deliver person centred, specialist services.
To provide clear leadership in relation to work issues and to offer guidance, support, and training where required, alongside conducting staff supervisions.
Maintaining up to date care plans and risk assessments
To act as a representative of the service in all dealings with external stakeholders
To plan and manage the rota and contribute to a 24 hour on call service.
This Supported Living service provides
Support for adults of a wide age range with learning disabilities, complex care needs and behaviours which may prove extremely challenging.
Ensures the individuals receive a personalised service to meet their individual changing needs, whilst maintaining quality and compliance.
Person requirements:
Level 4 NVQ in health and social care or equivalent or hold your QCF Level 5 in management or happy to work towards this.
Substantial experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities, Behaviours of concern, Deputy Manager or Management role.
Experience of leading, motivating, supervising and line managing staff in accordance with policy and legislation.
Able to become registered with CQC.
Experience of dealing with difficult and challenging situations safely and calmly.
