We are seeking an experienced and committed Operating Theatre Practitioner to join our client’s busy Anaesthetics and Recovery team at their acute hospital site based in York.
This is a part-time post of 20 hours per week, but we are open to hearing from Practitioners seeking to negotiate a full-time opportunity.

This organisation is Britain’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation. A key provider of independent healthcare in the UK, working with many of the regions most eminent consultants and a broad spectrum of experienced healthcare specialists.
Their York Hospital has 30 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, 1 Minors/Endoscopy Suite, and 13 consulting rooms.
Main clinical specialities include; Orthopaedics, General Surgery, ENT, Gynae, Urology, Cosmetics and Ophthalmology.
This centre of excellence delivers a high standard of Perioprative care supported by state-of-the-art equipment.

Person requirements:
– RGN or ODP with full NMC or HCPC registration as applicable.
– Two years experience in the Anaesthetic role, able to rotate into Recovery if required.
– Newly qualified ODP’s seeking to develop further into the Anaesthetic role in a multi-list setting are also welcome to apply for a preceptorship role.
– Nurse applicants must hold an Anaesthetic qualificiation.
