We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Theatre Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join our client’s perioperative team at their acute hospital site based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
This is a full-time role but we are open to hearing from practitioners seeking to negotiate a part-time opportunity

Their Newcastle Hospital has 27 en-suite private bedrooms, three state-of-the-art operating theatres, a dedicated breast care unit
Working with some of the North East’s expert Consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare specialists, they offer on-site pathology services and diagnostic imaging including CT and MRI, to help patients after surgery we have on-site physiotherapy specialists.
The main Surgical specialities are; Orthopaedics, Cosmetic surgery, male / female health, Ophthalmology and weight loss surgery.
This hospital delivers an exceptional standard of Surgical care, supported by the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment.
Person requirements:
RGN or ODP with full NMC/HCPC registration as applicable
At least one year’s post-registration experience in Operating Theatres, in the Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner role.
