Offering three months free accommodation – we are seeking a capable and committed Band 6 Senior Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join the Operating Theatres team at the major health facility on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
The Hospital has a dedicated Orthopaedic Theatre for all major elective and trauma lists.

Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.
The Guernsey Band 6 salary range from 1st Jan is £43,954 to £59,343 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.

Guernsey provides excellent perioperative care, supported by modern equipment and reliant on Theatre Practitioners recruited to a high standard.

Person requirements:
RGN or ODP with full registration with the NMC or HCPC.
At least two year’s Orthopaedic Scrub experience including all joint lists
The ability to take charge of the suite if required
The ability to supervise and mentor junior practitioners and students
