Jarrodean is proud to partner with Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust with whom we invite applications from suitably experienced Senior Neonatal Nurses to lead the Neonatal Service as Band 8A Neonatal Clinical Matron at their major NHS Trust site in beautiful Truro, in Cornwall.
The Neonatal unit is a level 2 unit with 20 cots (3 intensive care, 4 high dependency and 13 special cots).

Offering a relocation package, we are searching for a dynamic and ambitious Neonatal Nurse to lead the Neonatal Unit and be part of a strong and experienced MDT. You will strive to develop and expand the Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care, making a lasting impact on the future of Neonatal services at the Trust.

Each year the Trust looks after over 4000 women and their babies and are proud of their full UNICEF Baby Friendly accreditation achieved in 2012 and are now working towards the UNICEF Gold award.
The Trust serves a population of around 570,000 people, increasing significantly during peak season and employs 6,700 staff with a budget of £580 million.

As the Neonatal Clinical Matron, you will work closely with the Head of Nursing, General Manager and Clinical Directors for the Women, Children and HIV Care Group and lead a team of specialist Neonatal Nurses.
You will be forward thinking and have experience in supporting change and service improvement and be able to foster an inclusive, positive work culture and have exceptional communication skills to motivate and inspire your team to deliver outstanding care.

With a population of 23,000 Truro is Cornwall’s only and the UK’s most southern City, but maintains a relaxed, town-like atmosphere famous for striking Gothic Revival and Georgian architecture, charming cobbled streets, and a mix of independent boutiques alongside popular high street stores.
Within walking distance from the city centre are picturesque waterside villages, Truro is now celebrated as a cultural hub.
